Dear parents, caregivers, supporters and players past and present,
This Saturday, 12th April, the Strathendrick 1st XV play their penultimate home game vs Carrick (kick off 3pm).
Victory on Saturday will see the team secure the West Division 2 league title and with it promotion to West 1 next season. Your support at the game would be greatly appreciated as these young men look to achieve a special result for the club in its 50th year.
15 of last weekends squad are graduates from the Strathendrick/Balfron High School junior system including four who were part of last year's U18s programme.
Many of the group recall the clubs success of the early 2000s, and the promotions of 2016-18 as inspiration in their own rugby journey. They would like to create these same aspirations for the next wave for young players coming through to senior rugby at Strathendrick and potentially higher levels.
There will be a guard of honour as the 1st team take the pitch, a BBQ pitch side for fuel and even a presentation to the 2nd XV post match for success in their league this season.
It should be a great afternoon of entertainment and we look forward to counting on your support.
Thanks!
