A huge Thank you to GREAT - (Grassroots Rugby for Everyone Awards Trust) who awarded Strathendrick RFC and Balfron High School £2500 towards transport costs for girls rugby to get to games.

GREAT have awarded the club funds to assist with breaking down barriers to participation, a key message and target for them.

As well as having an opportunity to receive the award at Murrayfield, the boys and girls were treated us to a memorable occasion on Friday at the "Captain's Run" where they got to meet all of the Scotland XV who were to play the Wales side last weekend.

The club were presented the award by Scotland Men’s head coach, Gregor Townsend. Millie, Lexie, George and Freddy were all on hand to attend the Captain’s Run at Murrayfield and be part of the presentation.

We appreciate these special occasions, and awards to ensure we make rugby as inclusive as possible - thanks to our committee and volunteers who seek out and drive these opportunities forward.
